IT Support / Systems Administrator

May 2019

The American Academy Nicosia is looking to appoint a full-time IT Support / Systems Administrator for May 2019.

For the position the candidates must:

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or in a relevant field.
  • Be able to evaluate, propose and implement innovative ICT solutions.
  • Have experience with MS Exchange, Windows environment, Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, multimedia tools and social media.
  • Be fluent in oral and written Greek and English.
  • Be able to demonstrate commitment to the ethos of the school.

Amongst other duties, the successful candidate will be asked to:

  • Offer first and second level IT support.
  • Administer and maintain PCs, Servers and Network.
  • Coordinate the deployment of several projects.
  • Provide ICT services to all departments.

Teaching Assistant

Employment September 2019

Due to expansion at our school, the American Academy Nicosia welcomes applications from qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis within our Preschool and Primary Department which runs during term time and July.

The successful candidate must be dynamic and have good interpersonal skills, hold a relevant qualification in teaching or childcare, and have experience with children in an English-speaking environment. Fluency in English is essential. Experience with the English Curriculum will be an advantage.

The ability to demonstrate commitment to the ethos of the school is essential for the position.
